Thai striking megastar Tawanchai PK Saenchai isn't just fighting for himself anymore; he's fighting for everyone who believed in him after his painful knockout defeat in his last ONE Championship appearance.

The reigning ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion faces 'Spirit Dragon' Liu Mengyang in a featherweight kickboxing slugfest, which headlines ONE Friday Fights 137 inside Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium this Friday, December 19.

During a pre-fight press conference with Thai media in the country's capital city, the 26-year-old martial artist delivered an emotional message to his loyal fanbase still reeling from his shocking TKO defeat to Masaaki Noiri at ONE 172 in Japan this past March.

"To all Tawanchai fans, we were disappointed in the last fight, but this time, we will win together. We will bring home the kickboxing world championship," he shared.

His defeat to the Team Vasileus fighter during their ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world title battle devastated supporters who'd watched him dominate the Muay Thai division with seemingly effortless excellence.

Seeing their hero knocked out, his first such defeat in ONE, created disappointment extending beyond just the fighter himself.

His vow to bring home the 26 pounds of gold in the kickboxing division sets clear stakes for Friday's clash with Liu. Tawanchai vs. Liu, and other must-watch matchups at ONE Friday Fights 137

The organization's final event of 2025 is loaded with knockout artists, seasoned veterans, and young guns who never fail to put on a show.

Just before Tawanchai and Liu's high-stakes main event featherweight kickboxing contest, 'Left Meteorite' Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai crosses paths with PTT Apichart Farm in a bantamweight Muay Thai battle.

There are also two exciting 'Art of Eight Limbs' contests taking place: Sam-A Gaiyanghadao vs. Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi (strawweight) and Suablack Tor Pran49 vs Pakorn PK Saenchai (bantamweight).
