Another fan, @Joe_Smith97, expressed disappointment that they had not received any new information about the upcoming title since it was revealed that GTA 6 would be delayed even further to November 19, 2025. Furthermore, the last trailer for the game was released in May 2025. This had the fan frustrated:

Meanwhile, @OxShamss believed that Rockstar Games was focusing more on releasing new iterations of old concepts into GTA Online instead of working on Grand Theft Auto 6. The user also had an opinion about the player base.

Rockstar Games delays GTA 6 to November 19, 2026

GTA 6 will now be released on November 19, 2026. Rockstar Games announced this on their official newswire page and apologized to the impatient fans. However, they also asked them to remain considerate as the developers take their time to polish the game better.

In a recent earnings call, the CEO of Take Two Interactive, Strauss Zelnick, addressed the delay, saying:

"It's always painful when we move a date that we have done so occasionally in the past, and we have never regretted it in retrospect."

The studio is ensuring that the game gets a finish that the fans deserve. A brand new iteration of the Vice City will await players once the title releases in 2026; however, for the time being, some are left feeling impatient.
