Thai fighter Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri was one of the latest athletes to earn a US$100,000 contract from ONE Championship after his stellar knockout victory last week.
The 23-year-old PK Saenchai Muaythaigym representative impressed once again when he stopped Russian Alexey Balyko in their featherweight Muay Thai feature at ONE Friday Fights 137: Tawanchai vs. Liu on Dec. 19 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. He did it with a highlight-reel head kick in the opening round that left Balyko all dazed and unable to continue.
Following his explosive victory, Yod-IQ was informed that he earned the coveted ONE contract, which thrust him into the main roster of the promotion to further take his campaign to another level and pit his skills against the top fighters in the organization.

The win at ONE Friday Fights 137 was a payback for Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri, who lost to Balyko by decision in their first encounter in September 2023.
Also earning a US$100,000 ONE contract was Mohammad Siasarani, who knocked out veteran Thai fighter 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut.

Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri sees hard work pay off with ONE contract
The ONE Championship contract that Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri got with his victory at ONE Friday Fights 137 was a result of all the hard work he put in as a staple in the promotion's weekly fight series.
He came on board the 'Home of Martial Arts' in March 2023 by way of ONE's Friday Fights series, turning heads with his crisp fighting style and resilience. Since winning his maiden outing by TKO over Samuel Bielen of Belgium. He won 10 of his next 11 matches to make him a fighter of note in ONE's Muay Thai lane.
It is this same success that he looks to replicate now that he is part of the promotion's main roster, similar to his ONE world Muay Thai champion teammates Tawanchai (featherweight) and Prajanchai (strawweight).
