Runtime of all 3 Avengers: Doomsday trailers, explained

Currently under major post-production, Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the film features an ensemble cast that includes Chris Hemsworth, Benedict Cumberbatch, Pedro Pascal, and Vanessa Kirby, among others. Notably, Robert Downey Jr. is returning to the franchise to portray the central villain, Victor von Doom.

The first official teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, which began appearing in cinemas recently, has a recorded runtime of approximately 1 minute and 24 seconds. This is the first of three planned teaser segments intended to introduce the film's premise to the theater audiences. These clips offer a brief glimpse at the cast and the film's scale, without revealing major plot points.

It was only very recently when the film's trailers were reported to be played during the screenings of Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash, with four different trailers running each week.

The first teaser for Avengers: Doomsday focuses on the surprise return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers. The short clip shows a quiet, personal scene of Rogers at home holding a baby, who is believed to be his son. The trailer ends by simply confirming that he will return to the screen in December 2026.

The second trailer is expected to focus on Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth. It will likely show a more serious side of the character as he thinks about his past and his family. The third on is reported to be the first real look at Robert Downey Jr. as Victor von Doom.

Several actors from Avengers: Doomsday have recently shared their excitement about the new looks their characters will debut in 2026. Simu Liu, who plays Shang-Chi, confirmed that he will wear a brand-new suit that is "not the same at all" compared to his original outfit.

Similarly, Letitia Wright shared that Shuri will have a new Black Panther suit. She described the outfit as "special" and said it fits very well, while leaks suggest the gold details from her previous suit may be changed to a regal purple.

Finally, while Chris Hemsworth hasn't given a detailed interview about his new armor yet, rumors from the film's early trailers suggest Thor will return to a more serious, "warrior" style.
