Watch the awkward moment Meghan Markle leaves Prince Harry hanging on NYC trip

The Sussexes seemingly shared an awkward moment during their visit to New York City Wednesday.

Meghan Markle was caught by paparazzi stepping out of one of the vehicles of her four-car motorcade while outside the Jazz at Lincoln Center ahead of her Time100 guest appearance.

Prince Harry, who joined her for the Big Apple trip, was also seen making his way from the other side of the black SUV to help his wife out of the car.

However, the “With Love, Meghan” star became distracted by a woman who was waiting outside the venue to greet her — and completely missed that the Duke of Sussex was walking up to her.

A grinning Markle, seemingly unaware of the missed interaction, then walked into the building and even took a moment to slightly wave at the photographers outside.

Harry, meanwhile, brushed off the very minor blunder and followed closely behind the duchess.

Once at the Time100 Summit, Markle, 43, spoke about the exciting business projects she’s had recently.

“The past year-and-a-half has been incredibly busy and ambitious,” the entrepreneur — who announced her lifestyle brand As Ever earlier this year — said during a discussion onstage.

“You see it all come to life and try to give yourself the space and the grace to make mistakes, to know you’re not doing it right every day.”

She also gushed she’s the “happiest” she’s ever been and praised Harry, 40, for being “so supportive,” adding, “I never would have imagined at this point I would feel so happy and grateful, and I really do.”

Markle also revealed in the chat why she chose not to film her Netflix show at her Montecito, Calif., home.

“I have kids coming home for their nap, and 80 people in the kitchen isn’t really the childhood memory I’d want for them to have,” the “Suits” alum said before noting she felt “fortunate” she found a rental nearby.

Markle is not expected to stay in New York City much longer, as she also told the audience that her and Harry’s 5-year-old son, Prince Archie, is expected to share a big milestone soon.

The mom of two shared that the young royal is about to lose his first baby tooth sometime “this week.”
