Looks like ONE Championship fans will get the next chapter of Takeru Segawa and Rodtang Jitmuangnon's rivalry.

'Natural Born Krusher' got his coveted redemption at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri.

In front of his devoted Japanese fans at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Takeru bucked his losing skid on home soil by blasting Denis Puric into oblivion in their flyweight kickboxing slugfest last November 16.

An emotional Takeru couldn't fight back tears after his monumental victory, which was made even sweeter by a $50,000 performance bonus from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.

But the surprises kept on coming, as Takeru told Mitch Chilson his plans of having one last fight before calling bidding goodbye to his legendary career.

The Japanese star called out his rival, Rodtang Jitmuangnon, for his retirement fight next year.

'The Iron Man', who was in attendance, obliged and had another intense staredown with Takeru.

"One last time 🤝 Rodtang agrees to a rematch with Takeru for the Japanese icon's retirement fight!"

Rodtang and Takeru initially crossed swords at ONE 172 last March at Saitama Super Arena.

That night, the Thai megastar added to his legend with an 80-second knockout win over the former K-1 world champion.

Takeru contemplated retirement after that loss, but it appears he wants a shot at vindication against Rodtang before calling it quits.

Takeru regained his inner fire against Denis Puric, evidenced by how much he enjoyed himself at ONE 173.

'Natural Born Krusher' was smiling during his violent exchanges with 'The Bosnian Menace'.

Moreover, he addressed his defensive lapses, noting that he was able to cover up from Puric's power shots.

With his chin protected, Takeru was able to do what he does best and unleash a fury of punishment to put away the durable Bosnian-Canadian in highlight fashion.
