A fun joke with Ryan Fitzpatrick turned into a viral moment on Prime Video’s Christmas night NFL broadcast. Former NFL quarterback screamed in pain while getting his chest waxed live on TV after the Chiefs vs. Broncos game.
It happened at Arrowhead Stadium once the Christmas Day game ended. Fitzpatrick was paying up for losing Prime Video’s picks competition. Wearing a bathrobe, the retired quarterback and TV analyst climbed onto a waxing table placed on the sideline.
Licensed skincare professional Andrea Curttright applied wax to his chest as cameras stayed locked in.

As Ryan Fitzpatrick brushed his thick chest hair with a comb, host Charissa Thompson joked:

“Have you ever seen chest hair this thick before?”The plan was to wax just enough hair to spell out “TNF” on his chest.
Things got painful.
When the wax was pulled to make the letter “F,” Fitzpatrick jumped off the table and ran around with the wax paper still stuck.
"My nipple!” he screamed. It led to Thompson with her hand on her heart and her mouth open in shock.
The wild moment wrapped up Prime Video’s Christmas night broadcast and perfectly fit its playful “Merry Waxmas” theme.
Earlier, the Denver Broncos beat the Kansas City Chiefs 20-13 on Christmas Day 2025.
With Patrick Mahomes and Gardner Minshew out, the Chiefs started third-string QB Chris Oladokun, who threw a touchdown pass to Brashard Smith.
The Denver Broncos' defense sealed the win by stopping the Chiefs on a key fourth-down play late.
The win helped the Broncos tighten their hold on the AFC West title and the No. 1 seed.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs had already missed the playoffs for the first time in more than 10 years.

The Buffalo Bills reacted as Ryan Fitzpatrick got witty after getting waxed on live TV
Ryan Fitzpatrick shared a post about getting waxed on live TV. On Thursday, Fitzpatrick posted a photo on Instagram and wrote, “Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night!”
The Bills’ official Instagram account replied with, “😂😂”.
Source: (Via Instagram/ @fitzmagic14)Fitzpatrick played in Buffalo from 2009 to 2012. He joined the Bills on Feb. 27, 2009, after signing a three-year, $7.4 million deal.
He first played that season on Oct. 18 against the New York Jets after starting quarterback Trent Edwards got hurt.
Fitzpatrick helped Buffalo win 16-13 in overtime and went on to start several games that year. He became the full-time starter in 2010 after the team began the season 0-2.
That year, he threw for more than 3,000 yards, something no Bills quarterback had done since 2006.
Ryan Fitzpatrick stayed as the starter in 2011 and 2012, signed a long-term extension in 2011 and had some of the best passing numbers of his career before the Bills released him in March 2013.
