R-Truth's return at MITB 2025, just days after he announced he was leaving the global juggernaut, has left the wrestling community in disbelief. One of the company's most popular interviewers, Cathy Kelley, was unable to control her emotions when talking about the 53-year-old star's unexpected comeback.

Truth, who's now going by his real name, Ron Killings, appeared at MITB 2025 to take out John Cena. The two went to war at Saturday Night's Main Event last month, where Cena won. However, much to the shock of fans, just days later, the former US Champion announced that WWE had chosen not to renew his deal.

This immediately led to uproar, with last week's RAW and SmackDown buzzing with fans chanting for Truth. WWE seemingly took this into account and brought him back at MITB, where he helped Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defeat John Cena and Logan Paul. Following the show, RAW interviewer Cathy Kelley broke down in an emotional moment backstage while talking about the beloved star's return.

Check out her comments:

"Since we thought we would never see him again in a WWE ring again but the response from the fans was immediate and it was overwhelming: Bring him home. Tonight, R-Truth's return was not just a surprise but also a reminder of why we all love this. I don't know I'm getting emotional but I just wanna say and I speak for the entire WWE Universe, I'm happy to see my favorite part of every WWE show back. So welcome back Truth."

With her comments, Kelley also seems to have confirmed that it was indeed the fan support that led to the global juggernaut bringing back R-Truth.
