The New England Patriots are 12-3 and have their sights set on the postseason. Their cheerleading squad is not only ready for the playoffs but is also preparing for their new additions for next season.

Cheerleader Taylor Sawyer shared a glimpse of a new routine she created for auditions. In a post on her Instagram Story, Sawyer is leading a class of cheerleading hopefuls through the routine.

The routine and class was part of the New England Patriots Cheerleading Prep class. It allows those who will audition to learn the routine and prepare before the competition this offseason.

Taylor Sawyer is a former college volleyball player. Sawyer played collegiately at Merrimack and then graduated in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in communication and media. She played for Merrimack's volleyball team for two seasons before trying out for the dance team, which she participated for two seasons.

She auditioned for the New England Patriots' cheerleading squad in February 2024 and is now in her second season with the squad. Before the Patriots, she cheerled for the Maine Celtics of the NBA's G League.

New England is 12-3 heading into a Week 17 AFC East showdown versus the New York Jets. A win over the Jets and a Bills loss to the Eagles will secure the AFC East title.

While the division title is still up for grabs, New England has already punched the ticket to the 2025 playoffs. Earlier this week, Taylor Sawyer celebrated the team's road to the postseason with a carousel of photos on Instagram.

In the photos, she wore a navy blue one-piece jumpsuit customized for the cheerleading squad with a red sequined belt and a red sequined star on the front.

"See you in the playoffs !!❤️💙 #victorymonday #newengland," Sawyer wrote.

In the first season under new coach Mike Vrabel, New England and quarterback Drake Maye have thrived, showing their true potential.
