Wedding bells could be ringing for Ben Shelton and Trinity Rodman in the near future based on their social media activity. The young couple recently attended the wedding of Rodman's NWSL colleague, Tara McKeown. The duo were dressed to the nines for the occasion. Shelton looked dapper in a suit, while Rodman turned heads in an elegant gown.

The couple then provided a quick update on social media about their experience at the wedding. They attended an after party following the wedding ceremony, where Rodman caught the flower bouquet. She had a big smile on her face while describing that, and burst into a quick rendition of the wedding staple, "Here Comes the Bride".

Shelton looked quite happy at the scene unfolding in front of him, and even joined Rodman in singing the song before pulling her into a hug. When an unmarried woman catches the bride's flower bouquet after it is tossed, it usually indicates that she's next in line to get hitched. Shelton and Rodman's reaction could signal that marital nuptials are on their minds, and they could be thinking of settling down.

Shelton and Rodman started dating earlier this year in March. Their romance has unfolded publicly, with the couple often being spotted at each other's matches, cheering loudly for the other. Shelton wouldn't be the first young tennis star with marriage on his mind, with quite a few of his colleagues tying the knot this year.

Ben Shelton and Trinity Rodman's blossoming romance could soon lead them to a wedding chapel. If that indeed happens in the future, he wouldn't be the first young tennis star to get married in recent times.

25-year-old Felix Auger-Aliassime married his long-time partner of six years, Nina Ghaibi, in September 2025. His compatriot, 26-year-old Denis Shapovalov, also tied the knot with Mirjam Bjorklund in the same month.

26-year-old Alejandro Davidovich Fokina married Paloma Amatiste in June 2025. Casper Ruud, who is also 26 years of age, announced his engagement a year ago. He recently revealed that he's expecting his first child with his fiance in the coming months.

Shelton and Rodman are both 23 years old, so a little younger than the aforementioned players. However, it wouldn't be that surprising to hear an announcement regarding their marriage sooner rather than later.
