Ahead of the latest edition of WWE RAW at the world-famous Madison Square Garden, there was a rumor that Roman Reigns, AJ Lee, and Liv Morgan were backstage. The rumor about the OTC and The Black Widows was true, as they appeared on the show, but The Miracle Kid did not show up.

Fans are now wondering whether Liv Morgan was actually supposed to return on Monday Night RAW at Madison Square Garden alongside other superstars and whether she was backstage. According to a report by PWInsider, Morgan was not in New York and was never scheduled to return on tonight's RAW either.

The rumors of her comeback on last night's RAW were only widespread social media chatter.

Why is Liv Morgan away from WWE?

The former Women's World Champion has been absent from the Stamford-based promotion's programming since June 16, 2025. Before Evolution, she unfortunately sustained a shoulder injury while competing in a match against Kairi Sane on the red brand.

The injury forced Morgan to vacate her Women's Tag Team Title and take time off as she was medically unfit to compete. She was riding a massive wave of success as a heel alongside The Judgment Day before being hurt. The Miracle Kid was feuding with Nikki Bella and was rumored to face the Hall of Famer at WWE Evolution. However, her injury seemingly forced the company to change its plans.

The 31-year-old WWE star recently attended Netflix's Stranger Things Season Five premiere. During the event, she was asked about her potential return, and she replied that she wanted to keep the plans of her comeback under wraps.

That said, it will be interesting to see what plans Triple H and his creative team have in store for Morgan upon her much-awaited comeback.
