Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry could've retired years ago and still would've easily found a spot in the Basketball Hall of Fame.
His game-changing use of the three-point shot and overall success have seen him reach new heights as one of the game's most influential players.
And in a recent comment left by Curry on an Instagram post by teammate Jimmy Butler, it doesn't seem like that success for the team is going to slow down anytime soon.
In Butler's post, the Golden State small forward posted a slideshow of photos showing him working out in Wuhan, China, and started with a short video of him shouting out fellow Warriors Draymond Green and Buddy Hield and saying that he himself was "on his way to being great."
In the comments section, right at the top, is a comment by the two-time NBA MVP Curry, which simply reads "on The way," with a praising hands emoji next to it.
Now, it's one thing for a player or a fan to comment this or say this, but for it to come from a player of such high regard as Curry, you wouldn't be completely out of your mind to suggest that the "Baby-Faced Assassin" is getting at something regarding team success, such as a fifth championship in the team's current era.
Maybe he could be 'on the way' to train with Butler in Wuhan? Who knows what the 11-time All-Star meant.
But with Curry, Butler, and Green all in their mid-to-late 30s, the time could be running out for the team to reach that fifth championship.
Or in Butler's case, his first.
