"WAR IS OVER," a fan wrote. "I hope on the other side of this, Ja has a coach who will hold him accountable to consistently play his best AND, Ja & Jaren have input into the offense, rotations & sub pattern."

Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce discuss Ja Morant's future with the Grizzlies

Since Ja Morant's beef with his coach went public, his future with the Grizzlies has been a big topic of conversation in the NBA. Some have wondered if it was thr last season that the fans were watching Morant play in Memphis.

While discussing Morant's situation at the Grizzlies on the "KG Certified" podcast, NBA legend Kevin Garnett made a bold claim about Morant and said that he didn't see joy in Morant while playing basketball.

"When I am watching him," Garnett paused, "[He is] looking like a prisoner of war." "They got him standing in the corner, they got him sitting up there. He ain't … I don't know, man,"

Paul Pierce went on a brutal tangent and said that Morant and the Grizzlies should part ways.

"I truly believe it’s time for them to part ways with each other. That marriage is over. It’s not going to work… I think if he goes somewhere else, it will bring the best out of him… It’s like fresh air, dog," Pierce said.

Ja Morant's suspension seemed like a nail in the coffin for fans across the league, alluding to Morant's uncertain future with the franchise. Other teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves are already keeping an eye on the situation and will grab Morant when the situation arises.
