A photo from last week's episode of SmackDown has gone viral on social media. This picture shows a concerning future for WWE.

When Triple H first took over the creative direction of the World Wrestling Entertainment, things were going quite well. The product seemed to be improving, and fans were very appreciative of the fact that the company had someone in charge who was listening to them. However, this hasn't been the case in recent weeks. Not only as the product become stale with similar endings to matches and storylines that feel like it was part of the WWE 2K career mode, but the ticket prices have also risen for its shows. The company has also been greedy with its advertising strategy, where at times it feels like the sports entertainment juggernaut is a walking billboard. All of this is finally coming back to haunt the company as fans are finally fed up with the product.

Last week's episode of SmackDown drew a very low attendance with only 4,226 tickets distributed. A photo from the show has gone viral on social media, which shows more than half the arena empty despite it being the go-home show for Saturday Night's Main Event.

Triple H was absent from WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

Saturday Night's Main Event took place over the weekend and featured a stacked card of matches. It was an important show given that a new World Heavyweight Champion and a new WWE Women's Champion were crowned.

According to recent reports from Fightful Select, Triple H and Bruce Prichard were not present backstage at Saturday Night's Main Event, but they were present for last week's episode of SmackDown. As of now, no reason has been given as to why The Game was absent from Saturday Night's Main Event.

It's surprising that Triple H would miss such an important show.
