The Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, and Pittsburgh Steelers have all been connected to a veteran cornerback still on the free agency market.
Pro Football Network's Alex Kennedy listed Minnesota, Dallas, and Pittsburgh as possible landing spots for corner Fabian Moreau.
Kennedy adds his contract projection for Moreau at two years for $18.8 million, which is an average annual value of $9.4 million.
"Moreau’s ball production doesn’t jump off the page because of his smaller sample size compared to other cornerbacks on this list. But he’s been quite efficient on the field," Kennedy said.
Moreau has played limited snaps for the Vikings over the last two years, but when on the field, he's held his own. The 31-year-old allowed a 57.6 passer rating when targeted and 50% completion rate in 2025.
Minnesota could look to bring back the veteran to serve as a key depth piece in their secondary, but Dallas and Pittsburgh could also target Moreau.
The Cowboys lack quality depth at corner, and Moreau would help fix that problem. The UCLA product's 56 games of starting experience would also be incredibly valuable to Christian Parker's defense.
The same goes for the Steelers, who don't have much depth behind Joey Porter Jr. and Jamel Dean. Moreau would be a savvy and cost-effective addition to Pittsburgh's defense.
Moreau should find a new home soon in free agency, and the Vikings, Cowboys, and Steelers could be contenders for the former third-round pick.
