Ever wondered about what goes into putting together all of the models and looks for the iconic Victoria's Secret Fashion Show?
A new documentary released today, pulling back the curtain on the 2025 show and allowing fans a peek at the angel wings and models like they've never seen them before.
To celebrate the behind-the-scenes look at last year's show, the brand's Executive Creative Director Adam Selman opened up in an exclusive interview with E! about putting together all of your favorite looks, styling celebrity and athlete models – including Barbara Palvin Sprouse, Bella Hadid, Angel Reese and Suni Lee – and so much more.
2025 was the brand’s second year back on the runway after being on hiatus since 2019, and Selman's first show with the brand in this role, so he wanted make sure the show to came across as "a conversation with the fans of the brand and of the show."
"I brought back the elevated runway, I wanted to make sure the opening section had icons for the models that walked," he explained. "I also really wanted to tell unique stories through this."

While fans of the show are tuning in to to see the styles being modeled, they're also watching for the models themselves. And the process of casting the runway stars and designing their looks went hand-in-hand for the 2025 show, Adam said.
“I had a really unique approach to casting this year’s show and actually designing into it. So the way that I design is I concept, and then I sketch, and I actually worked with someone who did Photoshop renderings of almost all of the casting, my sort of dream casting,” he explained.
Adam continued, “We would kind of go back and forth as well and just figure out the right person and the right personality to really bring the look to life.”
Satin Open-Back Cami & Shorts Set

While Adam described the "glamourous" and "iconic" Victoria’s Secret sections of the show as “deeply rooted in lingerie,” PINK brings a slightly different vibe to the runway.
“PINK was a whole new expression. I wanted it to feel young, I wanted it to feel fun, I wanted it to feel pop, I wanted it to feel almost maximalist in comparison so that it really felt like a jolt to the system within the show,” he explained. “I think that was a big important part, like color and range and girlhood was something we really wanted.”

Musical performances are always a standout moment of the show, and Adam told E! about working in tandem with the 2025 artists and their stylists to put together their looks.
“It’s really fun to do the whole thing because it’s not just fashion, it’s not just music, it’s not just performance, it’s really this huge mega performance all coming together and making it happen, so it’s really fun to do every aspect of it,” he explained.
Already thinking ahead for what to expect from the 2026 show? Adam teased what's to come this year: “You’ll have to stay tuned, it’s definitely something on our radar. We’re still dreaming, we’re still thinking, putting the puzzle pieces together. So you’ll have to stay tuned to see what we come up with.”
