Victor Wembanyama's 24-25 regular season was unfortunately cut short due to blot clot issues, causing him to miss the final 30 games.
The Spurs made a big trade to acquire guard De'Aaron Fox, and now hold the second overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.

One of Wembanyama's biggest critiques coming into the NBA as a teenager was his slim physique.
There were concerns about Victor getting injured or even questions about how he would handle centers that are a lot bigger and stronger than him.
Wembanyama quickly proved those doubters wrong when he entered the league.

He came out of the gate as an automatic 20.0+ PPG scorer and has led the league in BPG in his first two seasons, over 3.5 BPG in each season.
He's extremely versatile for his size and only can grow as a player from here on out.
If these offseason pictures do show real gains being made, the rest of the league should be scared about how much of a leap he can take again next season.

Wembanyama was an all-star in just his second season in the league at 21 years old.
He still has some improvement to make with shooting efficiency, so it will be interesting to see if any of these gains negatively affect that area of his game, as adding muscle can hurt shooters at times.
