Victor Wembanyama gets dirty Dillon Brooks & Draymond Green comparisons from ex-NBA player

Toughness is a big part of making a deep run in the NBA Playoffs. Victor Wembanyama may just be on his first NBA Playoffs run with the San Antonio Spurs but he learned exactly just that. He may be doing it too well because it caught the attention of Chandler Parsons. The former NBA player compared the Defensive Player of the Year to odd players like Dillon Brooks and Draymond Green.

Spurs' Wembanyama draws 'dirty' Brooks and Green comparisons

Prior to the end of Game 5, Victor Wembanyama was seen whispering to guys like Bismack Biyombo and Mason Plumlee. The Spurs superstar checked out of the game while the other big men stepped in. Not long after, Biyombo pushed nearly all of his body weight on Jared McCain. This drew a lot of speculation about Wembanyama possibly ordering a hit on the Oklahoma City Thunder sharpshooter.

Chandler Parsons saw all of this and went on Run It Back by FanDuel. The former NBA player made it known that Wembanyama might be entering the same territory as notoriously dirty players like Phoenix Suns' Dillon Brooks and Golden State Warriors' Draymond Green.

"This is the same guy that elbowed Naz Reid in the face, jumped into SGA's legs. He's competitive, he's playing as hard as he can. Dirty or aggressive, whatever you want to call it. This did look a little weird to me...  I'm just saying if this was somebody else named Draymond Green or Dillon Brooks with that reputation, which by the way, not that he's anywhere near those guys' reputation. But he's kind of dancing, he's flirting with it with his antics," the former NBA player declared.

Notably, the Spurs already saw Wembanyama get ejected in Game 1 in their second-round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves after delivering a rough elbow to Naz Reid's neck. The NBA did reprimand Wembanyama in this series against the Thunder but it was not for 'ordering a hit' on McCain. The warning came from the fact the Spurs superstar failed to fulfill media obligations in their Game 5 loss.

There is obviously a lot of physicality in the NBA Playoffs and Wembanyama is embracing it. But, Parsons may have a semblance of a point. Where does the NBA draw the line when it comes to violations that involve the Spurs superstar?
