Victor Wembanyama career high: Spurs star drops his first 50-point game vs. Wizards

13 hours ago 1

Victor Wembanyama made history Wednesday with his first career 50-point game.

The Spurs star became the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. He was just 19 years old when San Antonio drafted him out of France, and he went on to win the NBA's Rookie of the Year Award in 2024.

With his 7-3 frame, Wemby is obviously a threat around the rim and a defensive menace, but he is also a skilled 3-point shooter. He had one of the best games of his career Wednesday against the Wizards, which included this 3-pointer from near the Spurs' logo at center court.

Through 11 games this season, Wembanyama is averaging 19.7 points per game, but he blew that total out of the water against Washington.
