College Football Playoff Rankings: Georgia has SOS quality on resume Texas, Penn State, Indiana, Notre Dame sorely lack

Despite being out of the College Football Playoff picture following a Week 11 loss to Ole Miss, Georgia's resume is nothing to criticize. In fact, the Bulldogs can still win out and get help to keep their postseason dreams afloat.

However, according to college football personality Graham Coffey, the co-founder and publisher of Dawgs Central, the Bulldogs' disrespect is quite staggering once the numbers are dissected amongst some of college football's highly-ranked teams.

Coffey took to 'X' to explain his rationale, which has since gone viral.

"#3 Texas: 0 ranked wins #4 Penn State: 0 ranked wins #5 Indiana: 0 ranked wins #6 Notre Dame: Lost to 5-4 Northern Illinois at home #12 Georgia: 15-point win @ #3 Texas, 28-point neutral site win vs #20 Clemson Someone is gonna have to show me the math," Coffey wrote.

In a follow-up tweet, Coffey further emphasized his point from Georgia's standpoint, which included the notion of strength of schedule.

"Georgia has the #1 strength of schedule and the #3 strength of record. Texas has the #56 strength of schedule and #10 strength of record. Why put these people in a room if they can’t look at schedules and understand what a grind it is to play 3 Top 12 teams on the road?" Coffey asked.

College Football Playoff Selection Committee will never give Georgia a reason for snub

Simply put, we'll never know what the CFP Selection Committee thinks. However, it is known that Georgia's losses are due to good teams, as it is one of the few Top 25 teams to have played in championship-type games all season.

For now, all Georgia must do is focus on winning, especially with an unpredictable SEC field.
