Victor Wembanyama appreciates his new role as France's national team captain

"It’s an honor. At the same time, it’s also the result of discussions among the coaching staff and with Boris, because to be honest, for me, there are veterans in this team whom I was already watching play for the French national team when I was a kid," Wembanyama said after learning about his captaincy.

As he progresses, Wembanyama can show why he is one of the league's best players. He is ready to be the man who takes over the basketball world, but he is also prepared to take on the responsibility of being the leader who takes charge of every situation.
