Venus Williams marries Andrea Preti twice — all about their Italy and Palm Beach ceremonies

Venus Williams is closing out 2025 as a married woman.

The seven-time Grand Slam singles champion married Andrea Preti, an actor, model and producer, in a lavish Palm Beach ceremony — three months after tying the knot in Italy, Vogue reported Tuesday.

“It was just the happiest, most beautiful, sweetest day,” the bride, 45, recalled to the publication.

Wedding season officially began for Williams and Preti on Sept. 18, when the couple had their first ceremony in Italy.

“We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy,” she said. “But we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork — because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding.”

Enter Palm Beach, which “focused more on Venus’s Florida roots,” according to Vogue, and served as the backdrop of a five-day affair.

“We started on Monday. [Younger sister] Serena [Williams] gave us this gift of a beautiful yacht, and she arranged all the food, everything. We had 10 to 12 of our closest family and friends who were in town on the boat, and we were singing, dancing, gossiping, and just enjoying each other,” Williams shared.

The bridal shower took place Tuesday, followed by a pool party Wednesday and a “sports day” Thursday that consisted of pickleball, dodgeball, wheelbarrow races, volleyball and tennis.

Williams and Preti then had a courthouse ceremony Friday, an occasion the groom described as “very unique, emotional, and deep.”

For the big day, Williams wore “the most incredible dress by Georges Hobeika,” a design she “thought Andrea would love and that was magical and perfect for a Florida wedding.”

When Preti saw Williams walk down the aisle, he was overcome with emotion.

“When I saw Venus, she was beautiful, like a goddess,” he said. “I was crying and happy. I know my grandmother was there, looking down at us.”

Williams and Preti first sparked romance rumors in July 2024. They fueled engagement buzz less than a year later when Williams wore a dazzling sparkler on her left ring finger in February.

She confirmed her engagement to Preti in July during a post-match interview.
