Harbor's rework is finally set to go live in the Valorant patch 11.10. The rework was initially discussed by the developers when Veto was released, and patch 11.08 nerfed just about every Agent across the board. Currently, there are no confirmed release dates for patch 11.10, but it is expected to be released around November 12 to November 13, 2025.
This article will cover all the Harbor changes that players will see thanks to the brand-new rework in Valorant.
Valorant patch 11.10: Harbor rework is official
The Harbor rework in Valorant brings about major changes to most abilities in the Agent's kit. High Tide is the only ability that remains almost the same functionally. However, it has been moved to a non-signature slot and will now cost players 300 credits to purchase.
Here are all the Harbor changes as discussed in the patch notes:
- Cove: Changed to the signature ability slot. To use, equip Cove, and activate to form a water Smoke in the selected location. Hold fire while targeting to move the marker further away, and hold alt fire to move it closer (like Omen's smoke). You can press the Reload key to toggle targeting view. Reactivate to Shield the water smoke, blocking any bullets that hit it. The Shielded water Smoke can be destroyed.
- High Tide: Changed to a non-signature ability and now costs 300 credits
- Storm Surge (New): Equip and fire to throw, creating an explosive whirlpool that Nearsights and Slows enemies within it after a short duration.
- Reckoning: Equip Reckoning and click the Fire key to unleash it, releasing a surge of water that barrels forward to Nearsight and Slow enemies that are hit.
As one can tell, a new ability, Storm Surge, has joined Harbor's kit in Valorant. This ability is a small orb that can bounce off surfaces, after which it will hit the ground to blind and slow the opponent.
Moreover, the Cove now works much like Omen's smokes. You can select a location remotely up to a certain range and place it like a regular smoke. You can then reactivate it to shield it. Therefore, when placing it initially, it will only work like a normal smoke until you shield it.
Finally, the Agent's ultimate, Reckoning, has been changed drastically as well. It can now be equipped and fired much like Breach's Rolling Thunder and Fade's Nightfall. It will now form a massive tide in a wide area, which will move forward to blind and slow enemies caught in its range.
These changes will overall make Harbor a more aggressive Controller in Valorant, which was his original purpose. However, the removal of his Cascade in patch 11.10 may irk some players.
Apart from abilities, interactions, and voice lines were added to the Agent's existing model.
