JuJu Watkins has sparked consumer frenzy with her second player-exclusive Nike G.T. Cut 3 “JuJu Watkins” colorway, which sold out at retail and is listed at an average resale price of $325.
The star USC Trojans who missed last season due to an ACL tear is making a major comeback that transcends the court. The limited release celebrates her return, and she supplied her teammates with pairs to sweeten the locker-room vibe. Nike’s “JuJu” edition is still available in limited sizes at multiple retailers, but they'll be off the shelves soon as well.
USC is a Nike-sponsored school, and its basketball teams are one of seven "Mamba Programs" in the NCAA. This is a tie to the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his famed line through the Beaverton, Oregon outfitter. But it's clear Watkins and her teammates will be rocking her shoes this season, along with most of many involved with the sneaker culture.

— USC Women's Basketball (@USCWBB) November 20, 2025The "JuJu Watkins" colorway features a Team Crimson upper, Laser Orange Swoosh logos, and a Chalk inner, according to Nike. Details like the flower on the inside tongue and vertical Swoosh logos cap off a classic basketball shoe. The Nike G.T. Cut 3 is currently the best selling shoe on the market.
The craze shows the growing convergence of women’s college basketball, NIL/ personal branding, and sneaker culture. It's only going to get deeper in the coming years.
