The United States is well aware of this, as they had to use the final shot of their final round-robin match against Switzerland to pick up the important win to guarantee a playoff spot.

Ironically, the United States and Switzerland will immediately meet up in the semifinals, which will be played on Friday, February 19. The match will be held at the exact same time as the other semifinal matchup between Canada and Sweden. The winners of each semifinal will advance to the gold medal game on Sunday, while the losers will still have a chance at the podium with the bronze medal game on Saturday.

The only way to watch the match on TV will be on USA, but the broadcast isn't scheduled to start until 8:45 a.m. ET, 40 minutes after the match begins.
