While curling can be scrutinized for how silly it looks, it has had some of the most exciting moments so far in the Olympics. 

The United States is well aware of this, as they had to use the final shot of their final round-robin match against Switzerland to pick up the important win to guarantee a playoff spot.

Ironically, the United States and Switzerland will immediately meet up in the semifinals, which will be played on Friday, February 19. The match will be held at the exact same time as the other semifinal matchup between Canada and Sweden. The winners of each semifinal will advance to the gold medal game on Sunday, while the losers will still have a chance at the podium with the bronze medal game on Saturday.

The women's semifinal between the United States and Switzerland will begin at 8:05 a.m. ET. It will be played at the same time as the other semifinal between Canada and Sweden. The matches will be held at Cortina Olympic Stadium.

• Live stream: Peacock (United States) | CBC Gem (Canada)

The only way to watch the match on TV will be on USA, but the broadcast isn't scheduled to start until 8:45 a.m. ET, 40 minutes after the match begins. Cord-cutters can catch the action on Peacock if they live in the United States or through CBC Gem in Canada, and the streams are scheduled to start on time.
