The Texas Longhorns NFL pipeline continues to run strong under coach Steve Sarkisian.
The Longhorns had 12 players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft and 11 players selected in the 2024 NFL Draft. Texas has another strong coming this season – which could pave the way for an Arch Manning-led draft in 2027. There is no doubt that Texas is carrying a presence at the next level – and they have competition from in-state rivals Texas A&M and Texas Tech.

Texas players drafted in 2026 NFL Draft
Here is a look at the Texas players expected to be drafted in the 2026 NFL Draft, with potential spots according to SN's latest NFL Mock Draft:
Second round
Anthony Hill Jr., LB, Cincinnati Bengals (No. 41)
Hill (6-2, 238) is part of a loaded class of off-ball linebackers in this year's draft. A five-star recruit, he averaged 83 tackles, six tackles for loss and 5.7 sacks the last three seasons. He also totaled three interceptions and eight forced fumbles. He's a second-round pick with first-round value.
Third round
Malik Muhammad, CB, New Orleans Saints (No. 73)
Muhammad (6-0, 182) ran a 4.42 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. He had two interceptions and four pass breakups last season for the Longhorns. According to Pro Football Focus, he allowed a 50% catch percentage on 60 targets.
Jack Endries, TE, Philadelphia Eagles (No. 98)
Endries (6-4, 245) had 33 receptions on 45 targets for the Longhorns last season – one season – a year after posting 56 catches and 623 yards at Cal with Fernando Mendoza at quarterback. He's a Day 2 tight end sleeper with high upside in the right offense.
Fourth round
Michael Taaffe, S, New Orleans (No. 136)
Taaffe (5-11, 190) is one of our favorite sleepers in this year's draft. He averaged 65 tackles and totaled seven interceptions the last three seasons as a team leader for Texas. He could develop into a starter and has immediate value on special teams.
Fifth round
Ethan Burke, EDGE, Cleveland Brown (No. 146)
Burke (6-6, 269) is an athletic interior defensive lineman who committed to play lacrosse at Maryland before choosing football. He had five sacks and 14 tackles for loss for the Longhorns the last two seasons.
DJ Campbell, G/C, Baltimore Ravens (No. 162)
Campbell (6-3, 313) played right guard last season but also has experience at center. He allowed just one sack and six quarterback hits from the interior. Campbell is a quality addition for depth on Day 3.
Sixth round
Trey Moore, LB, Las Vegas Raiders (No. 185)
Moore (6-1, 243) had 35 tackles, five tackles for loss and three sacks for the Longhorns. He's a five-year college player between UTSA and Texas who made 46 college starts.

Most Texas players drafted in a single draft
The Longhorns had 17 players taken in a 12-round draft in 1984. Texas had 12 players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, the most in a seven-round draft for the program.
Which school has the record for most picks in a single NFL Draft?
Georgia had 15 players selected in the 2022 NFL Draft, and that included five first-round picks led by No. 1 pick Travon Walker. Ohio State (2004) and LSU (2020) each had 14 players selected, and Michigan (2024) had 13 players taken in last year's draft after winning the national championship.
When is Arch Manning eligible for the NFL Draft?
Manning – the nephew of NFL legends Peyton Manning and Eli Manning – bypassed the 2026 NFL Draft and returned for another season at Texas. Manning had 3,163 yards, 26 TDs and seven interceptions in his first year as a starter with the Longhorns. He still has two years of eligibility left in college.
