Unrivaled tickets 2025: See the best prices, full schedule of matchups for inaugural women's basketball league

The WNBA broke viewership numbers in 2024. Rookies Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese elevated the game, while veterans like A'ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Diana Taurasi, and more continue to dominate. The season ended with Stewart and the New York Liberty beating the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA Finals.  

A few months removed from an epic end to a fantastic season, women's basketball looks to continue that momentum with Unrivaled. 

Before the 2025 WNBA season begins in mid-May, the best in women's basketball will come together for a 3-on-3 league. Six teams of 36 players will compete to entertain fans and keep themselves fresh for the season. 

The teams, Laces BC, Lunar Owls, Mist BC, Phantom BC, Rose BC, and Vinyl BC, will feature players like Reese, Stewart, Brittney Griner, Sabrina Ionescu, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Jewell Loyd, and more. It features, per ESPN, three seven-minute quarters and a fourth quarter, which the league will call "winning score.'

Though it is far different compared to how the WNBA is played and the 3-on-3 basketball games played at the Olympics, the goal of competition and interest is still the same.

"This game is rooted in how you would play basketball as a kid on a black top," Unrivaled President of Basketball Operations Luke Cooper told ESPN. "There's flow. There's pace. When you are watching, it feels like you are watching basketball... it's not a gimmick."

The first Unrivaled season will be played at a Mediapro complex in Medley, FL. The new arena can hold up to 850 people.

Unrivaled 2025 games, dates

The first Unrivaled season begins on January 17.

A 1v1 tournament will be on February 10, 13, and 14. The semi-finals are on March 16 and the finals will be on March 17.

Through the season, all teams play one another multiple times.
