The 2025 UFL season has turned into an all-out sprint toward the finish line, with multiple teams vying for top seeds in the playoffs. Three teams sit at 6-2 on the season, all three of which have active winning streaks. It's shaping up to be a wildly entertaining last couple of weeks of the regular season.
Quarterback Bryce Perkins and the Michigan Panthers remain the top offense in the league, sitting atop the USFL conference and scoring a UFL-best 211 points through eight games. Michigan draws the conference-rival Birmingham Stallions this week, a chance for the Panthers to clinch the No. 1 seed in the postseason.
In the XFL, the DC Defenders and St. Louis Battlehawks keep fighting for the top spot. Both 6-2 and riding winning streaks, DC has the top offense in the conference, and St. Louis flaunts the best defense. The Defenders draw the Houston Roughnecks this weekend, while the Battlehawks take on the San Antonio Brahmas.
