U.S. figure skater Amber Glenn has the most surprising interest at Olympics

Amber Glenn's pre-Olympics interview with NBC was incredible.

The U.S. figure skater was going to be asked about her favorite card game, Magic: The Gathering. The NBC crew actually had cards to bring out and look at with Glenn.

And then Glenn stopped them. She already had cards with her in her pockets.

Glenn is competing for the first time at these Winter Olympics as the women's free skate portion of the team event for the United States.

She has the triple axel as her signature move, and might be the best in the world at it.

She's also great at her favorite card game.

What is Magic: The Gathering card game?

Magic: The Gathering is a popular card game.

It's regarded as the world's first collectible trading card game, and it was first released in 1993.

It's a turn-based game in which creatures and spells are used from the cards to try and drain the opponent's life points before your own.

Glenn, evidently, puts in work away from the ice on surviving in Magic: The Gathering games. If she's close to as good at that as she is at figure skating, she must be quite impressive.
