New York Jets linked to New York Giants wide receiver after impressive year for rival

The New York Jets are continuing to look for ways to improve their wide receiver room this offseason, and among the many options, a New York Giants receiver could be in the mix.

Outside of Garrett Wilson, the Jets don’t have much, which made Connor Hughes of SNY link the Jets to Wan'Dale Robinson, a decent player who would be a nice upgrade for New York.

“The Jets have Garrett Wilson. He is a star. Beyond him, though, the position lacks proven production,” Hughes wrote.

Adding another reliable pass-catcher has seemingly become a priority, especially with an offense looking to fix its issues and create more outside of Wilson. 

Robinson is coming off a breakout campaign with the Giants, showcasing his value as both a volume receiver and a yards-after-catch threat. However, with the Giants being in a similar position, it’d be interesting to let him walk.

“Robinson is coming off a career season with the Giants, finishing with 92 receptions for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns. Adding him alongside a healthy Wilson – and potentially targeting a receiver such as Jordyn Tyson, Carnell Tate or Makai Lemon with a second first-round pick – would significantly reshape the outlook of the Jets’ receiving corps,” Hughes added.

If the Jets explore the move, Robinson would come in and have a real chance to be a No. 2 receiver. He has the tools to do so and could prefer staying in New York if the Giants look elsewhere.
