Tennessee Titans wide receiver Tyler Lockett is looking for his next NFL home after the team granted his request to be released, according to ESPN.
Lockett, who signed a one-year, $4 million deal with Tennessee in April, is expected to be free to sign with another team after 4 p.m. ET Wednesday.
The 33-year-old Pro Bowl wideout caught just 10 passes for 70 yards in seven games with the 1-6 Titans — who fired their coach, Brian Callahan, last week.
Lockett was a part of Tennessee’s revamped receiving corps with Cam Ward, the team’s first pick in the 2025 NFL draft, as the Titans’ starting quarterback.
However, the season has been a complete disaster and Tennessee’s offense has only scored an NFL-worst 96 points this season.
After a 41-20 loss to the Colts on Sept. 21, the Titans visit Indianapolis for a rematch on Sunday.
Lockett was released by the Seahawks in March after 10 seasons.
He is the franchise’s No. 2 all-time leading receiver, having caught 661 passes for 8,594 yards and 61 touchdowns.
In 2024, he caught 49 passes for 600 yards and two touchdowns in 17 games for Seattle.
Although Lockett’s production has dipped in recent years, the veteran still can add value to a team and mentorship to a receiver room.

A third-round pick by the Seahawks in the 2015 NFL draft, Lockett went on to make the Pro Bowl and was selected All-Pro first team in his rookie season as a kick returner.
