Two Miami players are set to enter the transfer portal amid the Hurricanes’ run through the College Football Playoff.
Wide receiver Chance Robinson, a former top prospect for Miami, and true freshman tight end Brock Schott are planning on entering the portal when it opens on Friday, according to On3.
Robinson, a sophomore, appeared to confirm the news in a post on X on Thursday evening.

Schott reposted on his social media a report about his entering the transfer portal.
The wide receiver will have three seasons of eligibility left wherever he ends up after redshirting the 2025 season in South Florida.
Robinson spent two years with the Hurricanes and played in five games, appearing in just two this year.
Schott was used sparingly this past season, and his only recorded stats came on Sept. 6 when he hauled in two catches for 24 yards against Bethune-Cookman.
Both players were four-star prospects, with Robinson coming out of St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale in 2024 and Schott being one of the top high school players to come out of the state of Indiana.

The New Year’s Day news marks the second and third players that Mario Cristobal and No. 10 seed Miami will lose to the transfer portal.
Defensive lineman Donta Simpson is also entering the transfer portal, On3 reported.
All of this comes after Miami upset Ohio State in the College Football Playoff on New Year’s Eve.
The Hurricanes knocked out the defending national champion Buckeyes in a 24-14 win in the Cotton Bowl.
