Triple H may have subtly confirmed Dominik Mysterio will lose his IC Title to WWE legend; NOT Rey Mysterio or John Cena

Dominik Mysterio has been carrying the Intercontinental Championship since WrestleMania 41. Rumors have been swirling that he could lose the coveted title to John Cena this month, perhaps at Survivor Series. Besides, Rey Mysterio also appears to have stepped into the title picture as the legendary luchador made a stunning return this week on RAW and confronted Dirty Dom.

Even though Cena and Rey appear to be in the frontline to win that coveted title, WWE may have other plans. This week on RAW, Triple H may have subtly revealed that Dominik Mysterio will lose the Intercontinental Championship to Sheamus. The recent developments on the red brand's show have sparked this out-of-the-box speculation.

This week on RAW, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh were in the middle of a World Tag Team Championship match against AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. However, Dominik was trying to cause ringside shenanigans and as a result, Sheamus showed up out of nowhere to encounter him. The two were involved in a chaotic brawl at the ringside, something that fans didn't see coming.

Out of all the superstars, the 47-year-old coming out to fend off Dirty Dom was quite surprising. Their paths had no reason to intersect unless a larger plan was in motion. Triple H appears to have major things in store involving Sheamus and Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship down the line, whose seeds may have been planted on RAW this week.

There have been innumerable times when The Celtic Warrior went after the coveted title to become a Grand Slam Champion. However, he only faced setbacks and disappointment. If WWE is putting him again in this same direction, it could mean only one thing - Sheamus could be poised for glory. He could actually dethrone Dominik Mysterio to become the new Intercontinental Champion.

Triple H may involve Dominik Mysterio in a multi-faceted storyline on RAW

Dominik Mysterio has been one of the most eye-grabbing attractions on Monday Night RAW. The 28-year-old has been impressing fans with his performance in recent years. Given his meteoric rise, Triple H could put him in a comprehensive storyline on RAW, involving several superstars at the same time.

Rey Mysterio was seen confronting Dirty Dom last night following a stunning return. WWE seemingly has plans to reignite the family drama that was once the hottest storyline on the main roster. Rey and Dominik could start a blockbuster feud on the red brand going forward, leading to a series of matches.

Meanwhile, The Judgment Day member could also start a feud with Sheamus simultaneously on Monday Night RAW. Triple H could continue to show clashes between the two stars over the weeks. On the other hand, Dominik Mysterio has already been involved in a cold war with Finn Balor, which may continue.

This way, The Judgment Day member could be part of a multi-faceted storyline in WWE where Triple H could use him in various directions simultaneously. If it happens, it could give rise to a compelling situation, making Mysterio one of the main attractions of Monday Night RAW.
