Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has been involved in a heated feud with Drew McIntyre for months, and the endgame of their rivalry is almost here. Shockingly, Triple H may have subtly confirmed that The American Nightmare will be stripped of his title with a recent angle.

Nick Aldis confirmed the stipulation for Rhodes and McIntyre's rematch

WWE recently posted a video where SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis was seen in a meeting with Drew McIntyre at the former world champion's home. Aldis proposed a final rematch offer to the Scotsman. However, McIntyre refused and demanded a stipulation bout of his choice. The National Treasure ultimately accepted McIntyre's proposal.

As part of the stipulation, if Rhodes touches McIntyre before their title contest, he will be stripped of his gold.

Rhodes immediately disobeyed the stipulation, as he invaded McIntyre's house and attacked the Scottish star in the security team's presence. This has led fans to speculate that Aldis might strip The American Nightmare of his title on Triple H's order.
