TORONTO – A day that began with a pair of Yankees injury concerns added another before the night was over.
Trent Grisham left Monday’s game against the Blue Jays in the fifth inning with left hamstring tightness, the team announced.
It was not immediately clear when Grisham tweaked the hamstring.
He did not bat in the top of the fifth and then was replaced by Jasson Domínguez (with Cody Bellinger moving to center field) to start the bottom of the fifth.

But Grisham did make a running attempt on a sinking liner in the bottom of the fourth, only to come up short of catching it.
He also singled and scored in the top of the fourth.
Grisham’s injury worry came after reliever Fernando Cruz was placed on the injured list with an oblique strain and Austin Wells was missing from the lineup after undergoing tests for a circulation issue in his left pointer finger.
