Travis Kelce seemingly picks a side in Taylor Swift and Blake Lively feud

It seems there’s bad blood between Travis Kelce and Ryan Reynolds. Eagle eyed fans quickly noticed that the football star hit the unfollow button on the actor’s Instagram page. 

Page Six reported on Sunday, April 27, that Kelce had cut ties with Reynolds on social media over the weekend. A Reddit user first brought attention to the fact that the Chief’s player was no longer listed as one of the actor’s many followers. 

Kelce first connected with the Deadpool star thanks to his beau of two years. Taylor Swift has been a longtime friend of Blake Lively, Reynold’s wife. The two have even been spotted on numerous occasions together supporting the football players' games. 

Another Redditor shared receipts showing that Kelce did follow Reynolds at one point, but that is no longer the case. It seems Reynolds wasn’t aware of this as he still follows the tight end as of Monday morning. 

This news however didn’t come as a surprise to fans of Swift. Rumors surrounding a supposed feud between the pop star and Reynolds' wife began earlier this year. 

The It Ends With Us actress sued her former co-star Justin Baldoni in December 2024, accusing him of sexual harassment. The director denied these claims and filed a counter complaint shortly after, where he mentioned Swift. 

In his filing, Baldoni included a text message from Lively referring to her husband and close friend as her “creative barometers” and “dragons.” 

It was reported by multiple outlets in April 2025 that the “Cruel Summer” songstress may even be served with a subpoena to testify in the trial. 

Kelce’s subtle diss on social media may be a bigger sign of his standing with Reynolds and Lively. Despite straying away from the spotlight in recent months, this quiet unfollowing has fans wondering if their friendship is really over.
