While Travis Kelce continues to work through this season, Taylor Swift started with their wedding preparations. After choosing the venue in Rhode Island, the pop superstart has reportedly slowed down as Christmas is around the corner.

An insider shared on Wednesday that Swift wants to enjoy her "favorite time of the year."

“And her birthday, and she has been intentionally slowing down," the insider said, via Us Weekly. "She’s been nesting, cooking, spending time with family and carving out space to enjoy being engaged."

The source also said Swift wants the time before their wedding to "feel grounded and not chaotic" for the Chiefs tight end.

Swift's name was recently cleared in the controversy surrounding her wedding at Ocean House. Page Six reported on Dec. 4 that she bought off another bride's wedding slot.

However, Ocean House's spokesperson denied it two days later.

Meanwhile, Swift addressed another viral speculation in October, claiming that she would retire from her music career after marrying Kelce. She denied it and said it's "shockingly offensive."
