Travis Kelce makes cheeky Taylor Swift joke at Patrick Mahomes’ charity gala as singer skips event

Travis Kelce made a joke at Patrick Mahomes’ charity event Thursday night when he noticed a guitar autographed by Taylor Swift was up for grabs.

“I just realized I have that already,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, quipped at the annual 15 and the Mahomies Vegas Golf Classic Gala in a video circulating on X.

He kept his paddle down and sat at the VIP table as those around him laughed off the cheeky statement.

The instrument was eventually sold to another attendee for $15,000.

Social media users praised Kelce’s “cute” joke via X on Friday, with one Swiftie gushing, “This man is funny!”

The NFL star was noticeably solo Thursday despite attending last year’s event with Swift, 35, at his side.

In May 2024, the “affectionate” duo packed on the PDA, with eyewitnesses revealing they engaged in “lots of kissing.”

The pop star stunned in a green Maria Lucia Hohan gown at the time, while her partner suited up in navy.

The athlete wore a gray suit for this year’s occasion.

The “Catching Kelce” alum also stepped out sans Swift over the weekend, posing at the Amazon Upfronts 2025 red carpet with his brother, Jason Kelce.

Travis wore his hair in a slicked-back style while pairing a white T-shirt featuring a wedding cake with another gray suit.

Although he and Swift have remained primarily out of the limelight in recent months amid his NFL offseason and the end of her Eras Tour, they resurfaced on Mother’s Day.

The duo celebrated with Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, and more family members in Philadelphia on Sunday.

Jason, 37, later told “Entertainment Tonight” how “special” the meal was.

The retired Philadelphia Eagles player also confirmed that Swift has met his and Kylie’s newborn baby girl, Finnley.

The pop star has been laying low since she was dragged into her longtime pal Blake Lively’s legal drama with “It Ends With Us” co-star and director Justin Baldoni in January.

Last week, the Grammy winner was subpoenaed as a witness in the contentious court case despite Swift’s rep insisting she was “not involved” in the movie’s drama while “traveling around the globe … headlining the biggest tour in history.”
