Travis Kelce gets honest about Taylor Swift's song "Wood" that references his manhood

The internet cannot get enough of Travis Kelce's "wood."

Kelce's fiancée, Taylor Swift, wrote a song on her newly released 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, about the NFL star's manhood. The three-time Super Bowl champion is finally weighing in on his thoughts about the record.

"Forgive me, it sounds cocky/He ah-matized me and opened my eyes/Redwood tree, it ain't hard to see/His love was the key that opened my thighs," she sings on the track.

Travis' answer was to the point when his brother, Jason Kelce, asked him what his thoughts were on the record.

"It's a great song," Travis responded.

Later in the song, Swift gives a shout-out to the Kelce brothers' podcast, New Heights, which is titled after their hometown, Cleveland Heights.

"And baby, I'll admit I've been a little superstitious (superstitious)/ The curse on me was broken by your magic wand (ah)/ Seems to me that you and me, we make our own luck/ New Heights (New Heights) of manhood (manhood)/ I ain't gotta knock on wood," she sings.

"Do you feel, do you feel — not confident — do you feel cocky about the song 'Wood'?" Jason asked.

"No," Travis responded, adding, "Any song that she references me in is very..."

"That's not just any song. This is a very specific you," Jason interrupted.

"Wood" is Swift's most raunchiest song on the album, but she also alludes to their romance on“Opalite” and "Wi$h Li$t."

Taylor Swift hints at Travis Kelce engagement on "Wood"

Swift's "Wood" not only has sexual innuendos. In the song, she mentions how she knew she would get engaged to the NFL star.

"Girls, I don't need to catch the bouquet, mm/To know a hard rock is on the way," she sings.

Travis proposed to Swift after two years of dating in August. The couple announced their engagement over social media.

"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," the couple captioned the photo with photos from their garden-themed engagement.

Swift shared how the magical proposal went down while they were recording her episode of the New Heights podcast.

“We filmed the podcast for about three or four hours,” she told The Graham Norton Show on Oct. 3. “Meanwhile, behind his house he was having the whole back garden turned into this.”

Swift added that he did a remarkable job in the planning process and he put a lot of thought into it.

“One of the things he’d put in there very strategically was a wall of hedges that weren’t there before,” Taylor explained. “And inside the hedges was my tour photographer hiding in bushes that had not previously been there. He went all out—10 out of 10.”
