Travis Hunter’s wife has scary advice for NFL draft WAGs: ‘You are an attention whore’

Leanna Lenee, the wife of star Jaguars cornerback Travis Hunter, shared some tips for rookie WAGs who will be attending the 2026 NFL Draft after their relationship was publicly scrutinized during last year’s draft.

“Don’t get in the camera because if you get in the camera too much, you are an attention whore and you want this to revolve around you,” Lenee said in a TikTok video on Tuesday.

“Also don’t avoid the cameras and sit down and try to dodge the cameras because then you dont care about your boyfriend, or fiancé or husband and supposedly other people are going to have to tell you to sit up — when really you’re just trying to hide from cameras.”

Lenee faced criticism on many occasions — such as when a now-viral video showed his former Colorado head coach Deion Sanders appearing to tell her to stand and applaud Hunter when he was announced as the Heisman Trophy winner in December 2024.

After that, she took a social media hiatus and was still the subject of public scrutiny when Jacksonville took Hunter No. 2 overall in the 2025 NFL draft.

Lenee hinted at the Heisman ceremony drama as she explained the lose-lose situation they face in the eyes of social media critics.

“Number two, don’t stand up too fast because then you’re trying to make it about you. But also dont stand up too slow because then you’re bored or dont want to be there,” Lenee said.

“Don’t hug him before his mom hugs him because then that’s wrong and his mother should hug him first. But also, hug before his mom because then it’s going to look like someone is trying to tell you to go hug him when really you were just trying to let his mom hug him first.

“Dont cry, because if you cry then you’re dramatic. But also if you don’t cry then you don’t care about him and you’re just there for money.

“Dont wear heels because when your feet start to hurt and your man carries you then you’re trying to make it about you. But also if you dont wear heels then you’re classless.

“Dont smile too much because if you do then they’re gonna think that you’re just there for money. But also dont forget to smile because if you’re not smiling then you’re miserable and you actually hate him and you’re just with him for money.

“Cheer for your man because that’s important and if you don’t then you’ll get hated. But also dont cheer too much because if you do you’re doing too much and you’ll be hated.

“And that’s all, so actually, don’t go.”

Hunter couldn’t help but laugh over the video.

“U go this one,” he wrote with a crying-laughing emoji.

WNBA star Angel Reese added, “IM DEAD” with laughing emojis.

Lenee, Hunter and his mom, Ferrante Edmonds posed for photos together at last year’s draft, which took place a month before the college sweethearts tied the knot in Tennessee that May.

Hunter also deactivated his social media amid Lenee’s online hiatus in late 2024.

The pair, who announced the birth of their son last August, kept their relationship fairly private ever since.
