Is "The Sandlot" the greatest sports film of all time?
That's was the debate between Travis and Jason Kelce on the latest episode of their hit podcast "New Heights," and boy did it spark an interesting conversation. The duo kicked off the segment covering a number of topics including "New Heights" being nominated at this year's Kids' Choice Awards, their thought about the New York Knicks and Jason's experiences at the World Cup. Towards the end, however, the convo concluded with their "New Heights Film Club" review, and this week's movie of choice was the 1993 classic "The Sandlot."
"I love watching kids movies again at a later time because you think about the movie differently...especially being a dad now," Jason explained. "I think of the relationship with Smalls and the stepdad and what Smalls is going through in a much different light than what I had ever thought of the movie," he continued, asking Travis about his thoughts on the film as an adult.

"Do kids even go outside anymore...like f—cking go to the park and play baseball?," asked Travis. "We used to do that at least once a week!" Jason answered: "This movie takes place in a different time when parents let kids do whatever they want. You had to come back once the streetlights came on...that was the rule."
"Or you got a good ole a—s whoopin'," Travis chimed in.
"We were around for the start of that going away," reflected Jason. "I think there was a whole scare in '90s that everybody was trying to kidnap your kids. As if anybody wants these f—cking things...nobody wants your f—cking kid!"
As you can imagine, the entire conversation is lively as usual, and you can check out the full episode above.
