The star-studded SEC baseball tournament will feature six teams ranked inside the top 10 in the latest poll by D1Baseball.com.
In total, 10 ranked teams will descend upon Hoover, Alabama, for the 2025 SEC baseball tournament, which begins with first-round action on Tuesday, May 20. The championship game is set for Sunday, May 25, concluding a bonanza of high-stakes baseball.
How talented is this year's field? Well, No. 21 Tennessee enters the tournament having won two of the last three events, and the Volunteers tout some of the best players in the conference, including right-handed pitcher Liam Doyle and infielder Andrew Fischer. And yet, if Tennessee is to win this year's tournament, it will have to do so out of the No. 8 seed.
Top-ranked LSU and second-ranked Texas lead the charge, as the Longhorns — officially the tournament's No. 1 seed — vie for a tournament title in their first year with the SEC.
