Colter Shaw gets right into action on horseback in Tracker season 3 episode 4. Titled No Man's Land, the hit CBS show's latest installment kicks off with Colter spending a little downtime in New Mexico when he gets roped into a new case after a woman named Gracie asks for help searching for her boyfriend, Trey.

But what he thinks is a breakthrough in Trey's kidnapping case uncovers a deeper conspiracy involving a love triangle, hidden identities, corrupt cops, and 19-year-old Trey hell-bent on revenge against the local crook. But while Jimmy is not part of the job he's contracted for, Colter ends up saving Jimmy and giving him some much-needed lessons about revenge.

And through it all, Colter Shaw gets kidnapped, held at gunpoint, and finds himself in what seems to be an endless desert, but his survival skills in the wilderness don't let him down.

Does Jimmy survive in Tracker season 3 episode 4?

The end of Tracker season 3 episode 4 confirms that Jimmy survives, thanks to the people who decide to go out of their way to help him. He's just 19 years old, and what he has done and has tried to do in the episode is a dangerous undertaking. First, he abducts Trey and uses him to get to Alonzo Diaz's compound, a dangerous man with dirty dealings in town.

What starts off as a mission to find Trey ends up with Colter saving Trey and Jimmy from the latter's revenge plot against Diaz, who gave the hit that killed Jimmy's mom in his arms many years ago. It's clear that Jimmy is well over his head, but his grief and thirst for revenge have driven him so far. He is able to kill some of Diaz's men and gets face-to-face with the criminal before Colter arrives.

After saving Trey, Colter makes it his mission in Tracker season 3 episode 4 to save Jimmy as well. He encourages Jimmy to escape with him because Diaz has a lot of men who will surely come after him if he continues with his plan to kill Diaz. But as they are about to escape, one of the men arrives, ending in a shootout.

Diaz is dead, but Jimmy also gets shot, and Trey, the veterinarian he abducted beforehand, decides to help him. Trey assures him that he won't let him die.


Tracker season 3 episode 4: Maggie makes a decision

Colter's mission in Tracker season 3 episode 4 kicks off because Gracie hires him to find Trey. However, the investigation unearths a lot of hidden truths, including the fact that Gracie is Maggie Holt, Sheriff Holt's wife, who is having an affair with Trey. The discovery leads Colter to believe that Sheriff Holt had Trey kidnapped and was also the one who had him abducted.

However, a conversation with the Sheriff reveals that he's an innocent man. He and Maggie had been having a rough patch, but he believes they are working on it and that she has broken it off with Trey. Learning that the affair is still going on breaks his heart. In the end, Maggie decides to end her marriage once and for all to be with Trey. Sheriff Holt agrees. He's not going to stand in their way.


Who saves Colter in Tracker season 3 episode 4?

After the shootout in Diaz's office in Tracker season 3 episode 4, Colter tries to flee the scene with the injured Jimmy. He manages to kill some of Diaz's men who come after them, but there are too many. There's a tense scene in the episode where one of the crooked cops has his gun trained on Colter, the same cop who abducted him earlier in the episode.

Thankfully, someone saves Colter. Sheriff Colt, who has been Colter's partner throughout the episode, arrives just in time to shoot the dirty cop from behind. However, besides Sheriff Colt's heroic act, episode 4 also shows off Colter's survival skills in the wilderness after jumping from a moving truck of the two dirty cops who abducted him and were planning to kill him.

The episode sees Colter brave miles of desert land with no cell service, water, or food except for some cactus. What seems to be an endless trek in 'no man's land,' he ends up at a ranch and borrows a horse to get back to town.
