After a breakout inaugural year, Toronto Tech Week expects to see increased attendance and expanded programming in 2026, anchored by the Homecoming mainstage at Toronto’s iconic History venue.

TORONTO — Toronto Tech Week, a weeklong, citywide tech initiative, will bring back its mainstage event, Homecoming, on May 27, 2026, at a new venue, History. Following a successful debut last year, Toronto Tech Week is expected to welcome more than 15,000 attendees and host more than 300 events across the city during the weeklong celebration.

Homecoming is expected to gather up to 1,000 in-person attendees and more than 100,000 virtually, for conversations with global tech leaders, such as Tobi Lütke, CEO of Shopify; Andrew Macdonald, President and Chief Operating Officer of Uber; Nick Frosst, Co-founder of Cohere; Andrew Chau, Co-founder of Neo Financial; Emily Hosie, Founder & CEO of Rebel; Alex Danco, Editor-at-Large at Andreessen Horowitz; and more.

Toronto Tech Week is excited to welcome dozens more speakers throughout the week, including Reynold Xin, Co-Founder & Chief Architect of Databricks, for the University of Toronto Desjardins Speaker Series, as well as Raquel Urtasun, Founder & CEO of Waabi, Jim Balsillie, Chair of the Council of Canadian Innovators, former RIM Co-CEO, and Christian Weedbrook, CEO & Founder of Xanadu, for the BetaKit Most Ambitious: Town Hall.

Additionally, the official events calendar is now live and features a growing list of more than 150 partner-organized events from across the ecosystem. The lineup includes programming from League of Innovators (LOI), Sagard, Robinhood, Carta, CDL, Build Canada, ALL IN, and Spotify, alongside additional events hosted by leading founders, startups, and venture communities across the city.
