WWE star Bayley congratulated a top AEW star who recently hit a major achievement. Now, the star has reacted to it.

That star in question is Athena, a prominent part of Tony Khan's promotion and its sister company, Ring of Honor, where she is the reigning ROH Women's World Champion, a title she's held for over 1000 days. The Fallen Goddess returned to All Elite Wrestling programming on the most recent edition of Dynamite after a brief hiatus, emerging as Mercedes Mone's new partner. Outside of the Jacksonville-based promotion, Athena is a founder of Metroplex Wrestling (MPX), an all-women's wrestling show created to give women from Texas a platform to showcase their talents. Last Saturday, Athena hosted MPX: Who Runs the Show 2, which had some of her Jacksonville colleagues fighting on the card. However, a WWE name, Bayley, also appeared to have attended the show in a non-wrestling role.

On her Instagram stories, The Role Model shared an image of the MPX arena and a congratulatory message for Athena. The Fallen Goddess later reshared the story on her IG stories.

"Proud of you @athenapalmer_fg," wrote Bayley

Konnan thinks Bayley might join AEW for a pay raise.

One member of the renowned Four Horsewomen in WWE, Bayley's legacy in the Stamford-based company is undeniable. However, questions have arisen about The Role Model's current standing with WWE due to how the company has been booking her recently. Amid the discussions, wrestling legend Konnan came out and said that Bayley could leave the Triple-H-led promotion and move to Tony Khan's promotion for monetary reasons.

The ECW veteran was speaking on his Keepin' It 100 podcast when he said:

"I would think Bayley goes to AEW if she could probably get you know like ... a raise."

It will be interesting to see whether Bayley considers a move to AEW in the future.
