Top AEW star makes an urgent appeal to cancel upcoming match

A top AEW star has been booked to compete at an upcoming show. However, he has made a plea to cancel this match.

Anthony Bowens and Max Caster gained a lot of traction due to their time together in The Acclaimed. At one point in time, they were the most popular tag team in AEW. However, the duo split up earlier this year due to Max Caster's changing attitude, which didn't sit well with Bowens. Since then, the two men faced each other on a few occasions. Seeing how their respective singles careers were turning out, Jerry Lynn ordered them to team up again. Bowens and Caster reluctantly teamed up for two matches and were successful in each encounter. Despite their clear hatred towards each other, Tony Khan has booked them to team up against Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita this week on Collision.

After this match was announced, Anthony Bowens took to social media to appeal to Tony Khan to cancel this match.

"WHAT THE F**K TONY, HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?! CANCEL THIS MATCH ASAP," wrote Bowens.

This isn't the first time AEW star Anthony Bowens has asked Tony Khan to cancel an upcoming match

On the 8th October episode of Collision, The Acclaimed were booked to face Big Bill and Bryan Keith. However, Anthony Bowens wasn't pleased about this booking and voiced his displeasure.

Anthony Bowens took to social media and asked Tony Khan to cancel that match as well.

"Hey @TonyKhan! I saw today is your off day! I was wondering…during your down time…could you take a second to cancel this match happening next Saturday night on @AEW Collision?? Thanks! Go Jags tomorrow night! DUVAAAAAAALLLL - Your Pride," he wrote.
