Mansions were recently added to GTA Online in A Safehouse in the Hills DLC. These are luxurious residential properties, each costing over $10,000,000. Apart from being at elite locations and having lavish interiors and exteriors, these mansions also come with a whole host of features, some of which are quite useful.

5) Extra Security

When purchasing a new mansion, you will get an option to add security to it. The security will cost you $1,750,000, which might seem like a lot at the moment, but it is a highly useful feature. Mansion security will not only be present around your luxurious property and protect it, but it will also help reduce the chances of other businesses being raided.

Furthermore, if you have already added security in each of your businesses, the mansion security will ensure that those businesses never get raided. Hence, this is one of the most useful features that mansions offer.

Every mansion will come with an outdoor gym area where you can perform bench presses, sit-ups, push-ups, curls, and pull-ups. Working out might feel like a cosmetic feature, but it does have some realistic uses in GTA Online.

You can increase your overall character strength by working out in the mansion's gym. If your character's strength is at max, working out will give an extra boost on top of the max strength. Hence, this feature is quite useful, especially before going on a major mission or heist.

For the first time in GTA Online, Rockstar added a fast travel system with mansions. When you access your AI Assistant from within the mansion, you will be able to fast-travel to any business or property you want. After a brief black loading screen, you will teleport to that particular property.

Hence, if you own a mansion, you should have your spawn location permanently set to your mansion, since heading to any property becomes a lot simpler by fast traveling.
