Travis Kelce's relationship with Taylor Swift is now a comfortable part of the NFL, as the two are approaching two years together.
Initially, Kelce and Swift's relationship was a jolt to the league, as the country's biggest superstar and the country's most popular sport came together. Over time, however, the relationship has settled into being a part of coverage around the Chiefs.
Tony Romo, who has broadcast many Kansas City games for CBS, has a unique perspective on the relationship as both a TV broadcaster and former NFL player who had his own high-profile relationship. The 45-year-old gave his take on the relationship, explaining why he believes that the media coverage is actually a "net positive" for Kelce's life.
Here's what Romo had to say.

What did Tony Romo say about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce?
CBS NFL announcer Tony Romo believes Kelce's relationship with Swift has actually helped quiet down the tight end's life instead of speeding it up.
"People won't even realize this, but he's probably doing less than he used to when he was younger," Romo told Us Weekly. "If you get your picture taken going to dinner with your superstar girlfriend, it looks like you're going out or something. No, he just went to dinner. Almost as if he's married, going to dinner with his wife or something. He didn’t get photographed when he was going out with his buddies all the time."

According to Romo, Kelce being in a serious relationship with this much media attention is actually helpful for him.
"He's far less out there. He's doing far less things than when he was younger," he said. "It's just the fact that if you're written about a lot and it’s not about football, some people are always going to think that it plays a role. But the truth is that it can be a net positive if you look at it closely."
Tony Romo relationship history
Romo is no stranger to high-profile relationships, as he was in a few of those dating back to his time as the Cowboys quarterback.
Jessica Simpson
In 2007, in his first full season as the Cowboys' starting quarterback. Romo began dating pop star Jessica Simpson. The two reportedly dated for about two years before breaking up in 2009.
While the two were dating, Simpson would frequently attend Dallas games in a Romo jersey, somewhat reminiscent to Swift attending Kelce's games.
