Tony Khan sends a message to MJF’s wife following the latter’s return to AEW

The former AEW World Champion MJF's wife received a message from Tony Khan after commenting on Max's surprising return. Tony replied to Max's wife with a GIF on social media.

Tony Khan has a message for MJF's wife, Alicia Atout. On AEW Holiday Bash this week, Maxwell Jacob Friedman made his TV return for the first time since losing to Mark Briscoe at All Out 2025. Max confronted the World Champion, Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland, and Hangman Page, and cashed in his World title contract that he won at All In Texas.

MJF has now joined the AEW World title match at Worlds End 2025, and it will be Joe defending against Hangman, Swerve, and Max in a four-way encounter. Following Max's return, his wife, Alicia Atout revealed that they were about to go on their honeymoon after Maxwell finished filming, but he made his TV return instead:

"WTF MAXWELL. You told me we'd go on a honeymoon after you were done shooting the movie… @The_MJF 🙄" Atout wrote.

Interestingly, Tony Khan took notice of the above comment by Alicia Atout and reacted with a GIF saying he has been charmed by a sociopath, possibly citing MJF:

AEW President reportedly rescheduled an event due to MJF's wedding

According to a report from Dave Metlzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio, the AEW Presdient, Tony Khan moved the ROH Death Before Dishonor event a week ahead because he wanted to attend MJF and Alicia Atout's wedding on September 5, 2025. Melzer noted the following:

"Originally, Death Before Dishonor was supposed to be Friday night and they quietly moved it up a week, and it was because Tony Khan wanted to go to Max’s wedding, and Tony Khan is not going to miss a show. So if he’s not going to be there, because they wanted him at the wedding, then in fact there cannot be a show on September 5th"

Well, Maxwell Jacob Friedman is back, and it remains to be seen if he manages to win the All Elite Wrestling World Championship at Worlds End 2025.
