Tonys 2025: Kristin Chenoweth Reveals Whether She Will Be in Wicked: For Good
The evening is just beginning on Broadway.
With the 2025 Tony Awards ready to bring up the curtain at Radio City Music Hall, tonight’s guests were ready to shine as they walked the red carpet June 8.
Indeed, as stars like Sarah Snook (The Picture of Dorian Gray) and Sadie Sink (John Proctor is the Villain) prepared to face off in the Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play category, they were sure to arrive in dazzling looks.
The Succession alum arrived in a buttery yellow form-fitted gown that she accessorized with dazzling diamond cluster studs. She completed her ensemble with her red locks in a classic updo and a neutral pink lip color.
Meanwhile, the Stranger Things actress proved that she’s left Hawkins, Indiana, far behind with her daring silver gown, featuring a plunging neckline embellished with crystals. And for Nicole Scherzinger (Sunset Boulevard), arriving in a sultry red gown for Broadway’s biggest night was the perfect move.
But the ladies weren’t the only stars who dressed to impress. Cole Escola, who is nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play for Oh, Mary!, stunned in a silvery-blue gown adorned with crystals along the bodice, which he completed with a locket featuring a ribbon necklace.
George Clooney (Good Night, and Good Luck) arrived in a classic black suit and without his eyebrow-raising dark brown ‘do as he celebrated his first-ever Tony nomination.
Although he and wife Amal Clooney aren’t fans of the hair color, the Ocean's Eleven star was happy to do so for the role. But he isn’t interested in keeping it around after his final bow June 8.

In fact, he vowed to Seth Meyers, “We do a matinee, and then by the time we go to the Tonys that night, it'll be gone. I may have a shaved head.”
"It really looks bad," he quipped on Late Night June 3. “It looks like you’re going through some horrible midlife crisis. I'm 64—midlife is a little stretch."
For Amal’s part? George teased, “She thinks it’s funny. She’ll be glad when it’s gone.”
